Fields
I have been keeping an eye on various fields around my parents' lake home and thinking about how beautiful they would be for pictures. This past weekend I finally got around to getting the girls ready and venturing out into the flowers. Unfortunately, the bugs were a little hard to take. I have lots of editing to do, but wanted to share this for now!

Meg at her Finest
I want to post more pictures of Lexi and Meg, but thought I'd put this one up for tonight. This is Meg at her finest - and not wanting to take picture-taking very seriously. She was, actually, describing her younger sister and how she sometimes has horns that grow out from her head..............nice, huh?

Photo Session!
I took Abby and her friend, Courtney, to a local park to take pictures tonight. Abby is pretty sick of my camera, so having a friend along made it a little more "fun". Lots of editing to do, but I thought I'd put these two up tonight. The first one cracks me up. I have an old camera of my dad's that I'd brought along as a prop. They wanted to pretend that they were doing a photo shoot of each other - too funny!

More Lake Fun!
Time with Friends
We spent the last couple of days with friends a their family's lake home in Minnesota. Amy and I have been friends since Junior High. In fact, Amy was reminding me this week that we met when we were as old as Abby (summer before 8th grade). Where has the time gone? Kind of a depressing fact. It didn't help that I had just been looking at pictures on my high school's 20 year reunion site and thinking "wow - those women look like middle aged moms". Uh - hello - that's me - a middle aged Mom. In my head I'm quite sure I don't look a day over 28. Yeah, right. Yuck!
Anyways, we had a terrific time hanging out at the cabin, tubing down the Ottertail River, boating and eating pizza. My girls had a blast and they all got along really well - it's so fun to see them together! Thanks Adsems and Olsons for a terrific time!
I'm cheating on the picture today - Amy actually took this one of the girls getting ready for tubing.

Fourth of July Fun!
Here are a few pictures from our weekend at the lake. There was a parade on Friday morning near our lake cabin. Kate decided to ride on the float (don't ask me what her costume is - she is some sort of patriotic princess!) and Brian, my sister, Meg, Abby and I watched and collected candy. The rest of the weekend was spent enjoying the beautiful weather!
