I Hear Ya Oprah!

Here are a couple of things on my mind this week:

Anyone else feel just like Oprah? I am so sick of thinking, talking, planning, dreaming, whatevering about my weight. I cannot even imagine being under a spotlight like her! I quit subscribing to her magazine a couple of years ago, but felt compelled to pick up the latest issue. I am hoping that it maybe gives me a little inspiration on my own "best life" plans!

I am currently reading "The Shack". I know, I know - probably one of the last people on earth who hasn't already read it. Wow. I don't even know what to say. I cannot even read one full chapter each night. There is so much to think about! I wish I would have read it with a book club so I had people to discuss it with!

I'm reading this book with a small group at my church. . . . but I don't tend to react to it quite the same way as everyone else. . . . Oprah has had the most amazing career. . . I remember her in the Chicago area just when she first started to become famous. . . and that was back in the 70s! She truly phenomenal!

Oh what a great book. It's just amazing to think about. And I completely agree with you and Oprah. I might have to get the mag.

You are not alone on the reading of the book or the weight. I may have to pick this book up.

My MIL is just about to pass that book along to me. Perhaps we should have a 2peas discussion thread on it!

I haven't read that either Debbi. It looks so good though. I am endlessly exhausted thinking about my weight. I wish it was a non issue but every day I think it more and more about it.

Happy reading! I do feel bad for her having to deal with her weight issues so publicly.
