Today I met a fellow POTDer (who is also, amazingly, from Grand Forks!) to take some pictures. We met at a local floral shop. It was so wonderful to see green! With all the snow around here, it seems like ages since I've seen the color green! There were also some plants in bloom in beautiful pinks, reds and yellows. There were fish, birds, cats - all sorts of animals to photograph! Here are a few from the first round of edits. It's especially nice to have a photography buddy who shares the passion to learn and develop as a photographer - thanks for a fun outing, Angela!
I used Ren's Black Frame on these (as well as previous posts!).

I only wish I had a photography buddy out here... but nope... I live in the middle of nowhere! :) These are really great! I really like the lines in the second one.

I am really impressed with the shot of the cockatiel, they are hard to get in good focus. At least mine is, he will never sit still long enough for me to get an unblurry picture.
The third photo is really beautiful, I love the color and the clarity. I so cannot wait for spring/summer. :)

It IS nice to have a shutter-buddy! Periwinkle Eye and I live close, and it is so fun going with someone.
I really like these--color, warmth, blooms. The shot of the cyclmen through the ivy is awesome.
Wow...it is so awesome to meet up with people you meet from here I bet. I can't wait to do it myself...it seems like we are SUCH a part of eachothers lives.
