The new weekly theme for POTD is "Shapes". I'm probably stretching it with these photos, but it amazing all the different lines and shapes that you can find in a flower shop! Here are a few more from my adventures with Angela from yesterday!
Top photo - ISO 200, Manual mode, ss 1/1600 sec, f1.8 - 50mm lens
Second photos - ISO 200, Manual mode, ss 1/320 sec, f3.2 - 50 mm lens

Cool shapes! Plants like that first one are so neat--are they a flower or a plant? Love the angle and DOF of the second one too.

Oh, your angles and perspective are awesome! Again, I am learning from you, and see how you used a much faster shutter speed! (I started to comment on how I hadn't even noticed that you switched lenses in the middle of taking photos, but then re-read this and realized you hadnt! So I deleted and corrected my comment!) I can't wait to see what the new flowers are going to look like when they get them in in a couple of weeks.

I LOVE the first image. It looks like a painting. I would love to see it with a canvas action too :)

Cool, those are real unique. I don't think I've ever seen a plant like those.

Debbi...I just love that first shot. Its so awesome. I almost thought it wasn't real. Doesn't the color of it make it looks a bit like stone? I just love sedums. I really wish we had a nice flower shop like this in town. Of course, they might get tired of me just showing up to get photos! Hahaha.

Your angle on the last one is superb.

Love the color and shape you've captured. I thought the first one was stone, it took me a moment to catch on.
The colors are so vibrant in the second one. Nice job today!

I think these both work very well for the "shapes" theme! Not only that but those green pots sure pop and make these very colorful! I like the second one best, but both of them are great!
