Tried taking photos for Valentine's Day cards for school. These didn't work the way I wanted (I also know it's not a very original idea!), but thought they worked for the new POTD theme! Lots of words (ahem - out of focus words) on these little candies!

i have wanted to do that one for a long time! just may have to do that! funny because i was just thinking i may cut out red hearts and write stuff on them tomorrow for the same idea!

Oh I just bought candy hearts today at Target so I could do the same thing later in the week! I love shots like this and do it almost every year! Great shots by the way!

GREAT idea!! I just got some too with great big hopes for a shot like this but I'm not sure my two year old will be cooperative with his hands full of candy!!! :)

I really like the second one best here! I just told my hubby yesterday that I needed to buy some of these hearts to take pictures of! So... what about it didn't work the way you wanted?
Great job, so creative. Of course we all know exactly what they say, so it doesn't matter that they aren't in focus.
Seeing your pic just gave me an idea (I've had a box of these sitting around since last Valentine's Day--don't plan on eating them, but they'll make a good prop!)

I think these turned out great! I had plans to do this same type of shot for POTD. The second one is my favorite. Nice color and would make very cute valentine cards!
