There are SO many things wrong technically with this photo! But is a memory of Kate I needed to capture. In kindergarten, they are looking at the Grand Forks Herald every morning to see the temperature highs/lows and the weather forcast. So, the first thing she does in the morning is check out the paper at home. There's something very humorous about at 6 year old asking to see the paper and then scanning it as if she is really reading it. We get the weather update on the front, look at the picture on the back (for sun, snow, etc.) and the proceed with our day. A memory of kindergarten that I don't want to forget!

Very sweet photo- one that she'll love to look back on.
Memories like this are important to keep.
Gotta save this and tell her about it when she's older.
It is just priceless to catch the ordinary moments, Deb, and you do that so wonderfully. She is adorable, and I have to admit, it is a bit funny. But its great that she is learning to really pay attention to stuff like the news paper. Its just the step before really reading.
She looks so cute reading it! I think its great!
This is precious and definitely worth capturing the moment. These are certainly the things I want to remember in my kids' lives. Cute moment. :)
This is so precious! I like how the focus fell on her hands and the paper.
The weather is the first thing (and often the only thing) I look at it the paper too. Sweet capture!
