I'm definitely off theme today!
It's dark when we are home in the morning and pretty much dark by the time we get home at night. I might have to learn how to use a speedlite to keep up with the POTD!! Tried taking pictures of Kate and me using tripod and timer, but they were pretty scarey looking. So, I'll settle today with a 6 year old doing a goofy smile. Also adding a few photos from Meg's 9th birthday this weekend (mostly because I feel guilty that I haven't put in a photo of her yet). I'm not happy with the close-up of Meg. Again -lighting issues. Oh well!

The frosting on those cupcakes almost looks fake because it's so perfect. They also look delicious...can you tell I'm a bit snacky right now?

Beautiful cupcakes! We're low on light around here too. I'll never forget the look on my friend's face when she moved here and I told her it gets dark at 4 p.m.

Love your pictures!! The second one is really good, I became all of a sudden really hungry! I love the last shot too.... maybe you could crop it a little so the left bottom would not draw that much attention! Hope you are not offended that I give this little advice! It's just what I would do, the rest of the picture is so beautiful that it kind of takes away the attention!
